Question A cybersquatter has obtained the domain name registration for my trademark. What can I do?

Question Recently, both the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the US Congress adopted procedures to combat cybersquatting. ICANN adopted a new dispute resolution policy for domain names and Congress passed the Anti-cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act. Both the policy and act allow a trademark owner to bring an action to stop domain name use by a cybersquatter if it can be shown that the domain name was obtained in bad faith. Initial decisions indicate lack of legitimate use of the site or name and offer to sell the name will be considered bad faith.
