Question I've heard a lot about business method patents. What are those?

Question Virtually anything you do as part of your business can now be patented, assuming that your method of doing it meets the usual tests of being new, useful, and non-obvious. These criteria are often surprisingly easy to meet. The Internet has spawned new services and new ways of connecting with customers never seen before. Many of those business methods are being patented. If you do anything new that helps to generate revenue, you should seriously consider seeking a patent.
