Question Should I put a copyright notice on my Web site?

Question Although recent amendments to the United States Copyright Act have eliminated the requirement of notice to obtain copyright protection, there are both legal (eliminating the innocent infringer defense) and practical (discouraging copying and downloading) reasons for adding a copyright notice (© 2000, ABC, Inc., All Rights Reserved) to your Web site. To maximize international protection, notice should include the © symbol and be placed both in the HTML code and on all page on your site.
